KIDS TURF

It came us a great surprise for Debi who celebrated her 16th birthday last Thursday. Her mom went for an out-of-town trip, so she thought that they will just celebrate her birthday with a simple family dinner. But when she arrived home with her mom, she was surprised to be greeted at the door step by her classmates, friends and relatives with songs and dances.

She's such a sweet girl that she deserved a memorable celebration. I personally decorated the living and dining area with balloons with birthday tarp at the center. Foods were sumptuous. Her mom even  bought bbq grills for late evening celebration .  We wished it was Friday, so that we can spend the whole evening celebrating her birthday.

I cant send you flowers or cards, text or call you on your very special day… but I choose to make a special post through this site so that the whole world will know how blessed I am to have a sister –in-law like you. I am not a good writer nor a poet but allow me to express my gratitude for all the love and cared you showed to me and my family. I couldn’t forget the time when my little angel Danielle died… you almost fought with the nurses and the doctors for me. You and mommy were the one who arranged for her remains, paid for the funeral, arranged the burials and did everything to make the load lighter for us. You were there in the lowest times of my life… when my mom died. You just don’t know how your presence strengthened me. In good times and in bad times you are there for me. 

In your birthday today let the me say … “ God’s love is made tangible because of you”. Continue to be a vessel of blessing. We love and God bless.

Tonight we are all busy for my mom-in-law's birthday party. My kids are busy practicing for their special number  Dale will be saying THANK YOU by Nikki Gil with my eldest son doing the acoustic guitar.  My hubby is doing a little art with our Birthday Card while me on the PC making the tags for the giveaways. Actually I have just visited acnesolution.org , a site dedicated to acne problems. I took a short break ..blogging...Lol!
