TT : Responsible Kids

Me and my hubby are frequent traveler. As a church minister my hubby is required to visit  our daughter churches in the provinces to do leadership and youth seminars and other evangelism initiatives. Oftentimes, I go with him so I can also minister to the wives and the children. We are thankful that we have responsible kids left at home, thus we are not bothered  on   their studies, meals and other domestic concerns.

Toy Storage: A Blissful Tool in Cleaning Your Kid’s Room

Among the areas in our house where cleaning and reorganizing can be frustratingly challenging are the children’s playroom and bedroom. No matter how we clean their personal space and rearranged their toys and other stuffs, it will still not be clutter-free at the end of each day especially if you have more than one child.

Nagging your children will not be that helpful at all. That is why we have to let them get involved. After all, it’s their personal space. Not only that it will be of benefit to you, it will also teach your children the orderliness, cleanliness and sense of work and responsibility. Also, creating the sense of ownership will surely help your children to stick to your storage plan so explain to them why you’re letting them clean their rooms.

In tidying up the personal spaces of the children, organizational products for storage would be of great help. To make it more fun, you may buy these products accordingly to the favorite colors and preferences of your children as they are, most of the time, choosy of colors and even designs. Storage bins, tray organizers, lockers, storage cabinets, book display rack and toy boxes are amongst the things that you may use in doing so. Toy chests are also perfect tool box for you kids. The bins, especially the colorful ones, are effective in making your children remember the kind of toys stored in each specifically-colored bin. Labeling the bins will also help.

Children love to play and have fun. It is helpful then to make cleaning their rooms a fun and learning one. Creating a fun game while cleaning and giving rewards to them when they’re done will surely be great for them.

Children are Heritage from the Lord!

Time flies so swiftly and we are already in the “ber” ending month. Four months from now will be 2011 and another year will be added to the chapter of our life. My two children are growing fast. Isaiah John is already 14 yrs. old and Dale Faith is 10 years old.

Isaiah John or IJ for short is a member of the “BOB” an organization of the youth comprise of men ages 12 and above. BOB acronym for Band of Brothers are singles who are alike who endeavors to be models of good works . The group exists to LEAD non-believing students, professionals, non-professionals, and out-of-school youth from all walks of life to Christ.I am looking forward to see Dale to be involved in the F4J or Femmes for Jesus, the female organization of our church. Currently Dale dances every Sunday with the tambourine and ribonettes.

My greatest fulfillment is for my children not only be successful in their careers but most specially in their service to God’s kingdom. Children truly are heritage from the Lord.
