Mommy Moments

This was last night during our Christmas Celebration at my mom-in-laws house. My sis-in-law's family came all the way from Cavite to Cagayan de Oro City to spend Christmas with us. As usual there are gift giving and special presentation.

Our New Christmas Tree

The kids are very much excited to  unwrap the new Christmas Tree we have just bought last night but I told them to wait until Saturday since I  have still to buy  Christmas Balls and  Stars. Aside from that , we still have to re-arrange our furniture at the living area. I guess I have to transfer the  cash wrap cabinets my brother temporarily stored at our study area and get rid  of  our old  album shelves  that has been there for ten years now...Lol! I'll post some pictures as soon as we finished decorating our new 7 ft. Christmas Tree .

Star of Bethlehem

What more can one picture Christmas than the image of Star of Bethlehem. Yes, millions of people celebrate Christmas every year and millions are looking forward to celebrating this season of giving with their love ones, family, relatives and friends. It is the longest of all seasons here in our place. The “ber” months here, starting with the month of September signifies the start of the Christmas season. You can hear the songs “Jingle Bells”, and “White Christmas” (though it doesn’t snow here...LOL!) played in radios, TV programs, in public transports and almost everywhere. People get so excited that even the local officials of our city have lined up Christmas activities and publicly announce it as early as October to add up to the excitement around.

But for my family, we always see to it that the huzzle and bustle of Christmas will not erase our thoughts on the One who gave us the real message of Christmas, the Son of God...Jesus. He may be depicted as Baby Jesus on Holiday Cards, gift wraps, “belens”, decorations and any other things, but still, Jesus is the reason for the season. He’s the reason why we celebrate Christmas, expressed by His love to us by giving us the Best gift of all time...JESUS.

Christmas Gifts

It’s still September but my sister-in-law is getting ready of her Christmas package for us. Yesterday, she was at the biggest mall in Los Angeles and called my hubby asking for details like shoes size, waistline and other things we want her to send. I was kind of shy when my hubby turned-over the phone to me. Although, I have some wishes but I just can not voice it out to her. “How about cash? “ she asked. “ Oh, it’s up to you”, I silently replied.. Lol!

Anyway, she will be calling us again by week-end. I have to search online for food supplement reviews so I’ll be ready with my list - weight loss pills for me, work-out supplement for my hubby and multi-vitamins for my kids.

Thank you so much sis for your graciousness!
