Transport Strike Today

The Kids are happy for the "Transport Strike" ... because classes was suspended today. That means they are free to watch TV and play games online. The Public Local Transportation Association hold a Transport Strike to air their grievances . They want an increase on the Minimum Transport Fee since Fuel Prices already increased 3x this month and that cost of spare parts surged up too!

Too bad it's our schedule for our Vehicle tune-up today. We can not go out since according to the new radio news, their are barricades on the road. How I wish Web-Est.com auto shop software is available in our country. I am sure, this would greatly help us with out vehicle maintenance.

Reflection : War in Libya

This is my son's Reflection on the news about the war in Libya :

There are I think several ways that this news will affect our country. First on the positive side, a peace can be seen looming in this part of the East country and that oil exports will be restored that greatly affect the price of our oil export and import and our consumption too. This would also affect the worldwide economy and also ours. And we cannot forget that there many overseas Filipino workers in Libya. There safety is also a big concern. By what happened, we can look forward to their safety, and those who were deported due to the chaos in Libya can go back again and work. But on the other hand, it’s too early to say that peace is assured in this battle weary country. Let’ s just hope for the best that the Libyans will work hard and keep let peace reign in their country.

This is it!

Our church 25th Anniversary 10-day Celebration formally opened yesterday graced with some missionaries from United kingdom and brethren from the USA . This week will be my busiest week as I am going to prayer all the documents like program, conference hand-outs and citations for the plaque. I just hope my printer will be working alright with lots of printing works to do. I guess I have to check the toner cartridges also for for the photocopying works .

As of the  moment, the team are in Bukidnon for the Medical Mission to the  Manubo Tribes. As much as I wanted to be there,I can not do so since I am more needed here in the office.

Brights Ideas and the Sports Channel

We attended a birthday party lastnight and while the men were busy exchanging their ideas with the latest catastrophic tsunami in Japan the kids were busy watching cable TV too! My attention was divided between them - I wanted to hear the bright ideas of the men but I enjoyed watching the Grand Prix on the sports channel. It's a prestigious event in the sporting calendar attended by the rich and the famous . The Monaco Grand Prix Hospitality offers excellence as standard to any visitor whether it is a private break or part of a corporate hospitality package. I wish to have that break too someday!
