Better to be safe than to be sorry
Better to be paranoid than to be unsafe! This is what I always tell my hubby every time we board a ship, in a hotel or cinemas because I always look for exit signs. I had a very bad experience during my first year in high school when me and my friends sneaked out from class and went to a movie house 2 blocks away. In the middle of the movie, someone shouted Fire! Fire! Everyone panicked and we stumbled one to another just to get out first from the door. Good that the Cinema had a wider isle and 4 bigger exits. Everyone came out safe.
That was the beginning of my awareness with emergency exit signs. It really pays to be safe than to be sorry!
