New Reading Glasses for the New Year

You may say you have a perfect eyesight, but believe me there will come a time when you'll need prescription reading glasses. As for me… it came exactly as I reached 40 years old. Two months after celebrating my birthday , I started to feel dizzy every afternoon so I went to an Optical Clinic. The doctor told me that as we age, the lenses in our eyes are less flexible, which means it's harder to read materials that are up close. So it is necessary to get reading glasses. I started with 75, two years ago I upgraded to 100 . I am planning to visit my optometrist by the end of this year so I can have a new eye glasses this new year.

Wearing Eyeglasses at Ten?

My daughter who's in 5th grade complained of a blurry eyesight. She told me that she transferred sit at the front row since she can not clearly see when she's at the back. I am worried because I do not want her to wear prescription glasses at an early age. Two of her closest friends since Grade two are wearing eye glass and I remember her asking me if it's ok if she wears eye glasses too!Do I need to let her eyes check or wait  until her Dad will talk to her heart to heart. What do you think?
